A community and family of followers of Jesus, passionate about worship, prayer, and living life with Jesus at the centre of all that we do.
Wellcome is not a spelling mistake. Take a look at John 4, where Jesus speaks with a Samaritan woman at Jacob's well. At that time, Jews and Samaritans did not associate with each other, not that it mattered to Jesus.
"Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life." — John 4:13–14, NIV
Members of Wellcome Church have previously been involved with many events and initiatives over the years in the local community and abroad. Some helped set up and run a community cafe in Grays Beach Park; some ran a mobile youth club in the South Grays area; some have been on mission trips abroad to help build communities both practically and spiritually; and have been involved in community street cleans, local festivals, and the Riverside Community Big Local.
